Copy users from groups to organizations

You may use your Jira users groups to organize your instance in departments or facilitate the integration with external customers, example:

You have an SSO connected and receive user data into groups and need to replicate them into organizations in your Jira Service Management projects
Your customers are Atlassian accounts, so they are listed as users in your instance (see Atlassian documentation for reference here)

The “Copy users” from Groups, will let you to quickly have this users from groups introduced in the Organization created for having them in your Jira Service Management project as customers.

iOrganizations doesn't sync users from Organizations into Groups. The only sync possible related to groups is taking users from Groups and copying them into Organizations.
Lets say some of your groups has application access, not visible in iOrganization screen. This way, iOrganizations has no capability to increase license usage in your instance.

To perform the copy you need to do the steps bellow.

Select the Group that you want to copy users from
Select the Organization that you want to copy users to
Select one or more user, or Select all
Click in “Copy user” button, so the users selected will be copied to a new organization.
