Comparing Organizations and its users

You can compare the users of your Organizations, and perform some actions to equalize, copy users from different organizations and groups.

This is useful when you had duplicated organizations, you can use Jira groups to fill the organizations related to groups, etc.

To compare, follow the steps

 

  1. Access “Compare Organization” button from inicial iOrganization screen (this is the Organization List screen)

2. The left side, represents the groups or organization FROM you want to perform actions related to users.

3. The right side, represents the Organizations that you want to full fill, and perform other actions related to users

NOTE: You will not be able to send any users from Organization to Groups. Only groups to Organizations

iOrganizations doesn't sync users from Organizations into Groups. The only sync possible related to groups is taking users from Groups and creating or synchronizing them into Organizations.
Lets say some of your groups has application access, not visible in iOrganization screen. This way, iOrganizations has no capability to increase license usage in your instance.

3. Select the option to filter Organization or Group from where you want to compare the users

4. Select the name of the Organization or Group from where you want to compare users

 

5. At the right side, select Organization that will receive the actions related to users, if any

You will see the list of users in each organization.

In the example bellow, we have no users in XYZ Global Organization.
